This year we stayed in Rochester and had a very low key Christmas. We really wanted Dagny to have a Christmas at home, in her own bed, and wake Christmas morning to presents under the tree. It was great!

Craig and Dagny baked homemade chocolate chip cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. She also wanted to leave carrots for the reindeer. It was very important that there was enough for all the reindeer anything less was not an option!
I made (painted) the Santa plate for Dagny a couple of months ago. I am so happy it turned out good, but more with the fact that Dagny loves it.

First thing Dagny ran for was the BIG teddy bear that Craig got her. My girl loves her bears!

Happy New Year! Christmas at home sounds wonderful. You did such a great job capturing Dagny’s excitement on camera! My little girl had a great Christmas as well although she was SO serious when opening her presents. She needed to open and then play with each present before going on to the next 🙂 In fact we still have one present that has not been open yet. I hope that 2012 is another great year for your family!

Looks like Little Miss D has learned how to be a gracious hostess from her mom and Agi Mama – enough carrots for ALL THE REINDEER – just love it! So a new tradition begins… staying home, baking cookies with Dad for Santa and leaving the reindeer a snack too! Love you all!
